FC Dallas vs Colorado Rapids: Match Predictions

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The staff see a three point party in the future and firmly believe that Dallas will make a major claim towards winning the Shield this year. Dallas is riding a 19 game unbeaten streak at home and have no intentions of seeing that end anytime soon.

Here are the updated standings:

Scott 41
Phil 38
Nathan 36
Mohammad 34
Taylor 33
Cody 33

Here are tonight's predictions:

Name Result FCD RSL Comments
Ben Lyon Win 2 1 Barrios and Urruti
Cody Gamond Win 3 1 Barrios gets a hat trick
Drew Epperley Win 2 1 Death, taxes and winning at home
Jack Hazzard Win 2 0 Dallas wraps up the Western Conference with a convincing win against the Rapids. Goals from Akindele and Barrios decide the match. Poor game from Rapids' midfield, giving Dallas the possession advantage.
Jared Tilley Win 2 1 Goals by Barrios and Tesho
Jason Poon Win 3 0 Hedges, Gruezo and Hollingshead do the damage.
Mohammad Bushnaq Win 2 1 A major leap towards winning the league is made by the best team in this league. Urruti and Barrios provide the scoring.
Nathan Hill Win 2 1 FCD gets a last gasp goal from Victor Ulloa to get the biggest 3 points of the year. Oscar Pareja coaches the match blindfolded just to make his case for coach of the year that much stronger.
Phil Luetchford Win 2 0 Guys, I've been saying that Colorado isn't really that good all year and lately they've been showing it. Since July, the Rapids are conceding an average of 2.4 goals a game on the road, the most of any team in the league. With Jermaine Jones still AWOL and FC Dallas scoring at least 2 goals at home in every game since June 2, that's not changing in this contest. A comfortable victory for the boys in red as FC Dallas pings the ball around the park at will with goals by Tesho and Kellyn.
Ryan Scalon Win 2 1 FCD gana con goles de el Argentino Mauro Diaz y el Ecuatoriano Carlos Gruezo
Scott Hiney Win 2 1 Tesho and Rosales score.
