Yesterday we dove into the remaining matches to see what kind of result that the club should expect in the final two months. A lot of our staff believes if the team wins their home games, a Shield isn’t far off.
Who doesn’t take soccer tennis serious is my question. I know the players at FCD play soccer tennis pretty regularly in their downtime but it is always fun seeing Oscar Pareja kick it with them a little too.

You get a hat trick in a weekend, you typically earn a Player of the Week honor. But at least Michael Barrios’ came in a pretty solid second place here.
MLS and the web go hand-in-hand really. Here is a small peak at what one club does.
Chicago was very close to losing arguably their best player yesterday to a French team for a few million dollars but I suppose the money wasn’t good enough and they rejected it.
The passing efficiency that Nigel de Jong brought to the Galaxy midfield will certainly be missed. But also that layer of protection he brought to the defense and attack is going to be hard to replace.
And then there is this for de Jong’s exit by MLS. Yikes.
Can Brian Schmetzer get the Sounders into the playoffs is a huge deal but with Clint Dempsey’s growing health concern, you do wonder if things are just a little too late for them this season.
