Another month is in the books with FC Dallas atop the league table.

McKennie signs with Schalke | Big D Soccer
The first bit of news that hit yesterday morning was that of Weston McKennie signing in Germany. It is what it is folks but lets be happy for the young man in this move too.
FCD enjoying some rest between games during a busy stretch | Dallas Morning News
While I don’t understand who is working the photo selection at the DMN (a photo of RSL celebrating a goal, really?), it is good seeing that FCD is getting a little lighter schedule this week before another round of crazy back-to-back games.

MLS keeps undercutting itself by scheduling issues | Washington Post
Every fall we get the same issue of league games going on during a FIFA window. Thankfully for FCD this weekend, Portland has about as many absences. Still, it would be nice to see the league respect those dates better.
Rosenberry’s revenge is shining in Philly | Goal.com
Kind of crazy that Sporting KC was the one that blocked Keegan Rosenberry from being a Homegrown player in Philly. But he landed there anyways through the draft and is now becoming one of the league’s better defenders in the process.
Kinnear surprised by the shake up in San Jose | MLSSoccer.com
Part of me is starting to wonder if MLS has passed up Dominic Kinnear a bit in the last couple of seasons. Sure he made a couple MLS Cups with Houston not so long ago but these last three seasons of his haven’t been anything special.
Toronto get a glimpse of life with out Giovinco | Waking the Red
Yeah, it wasn’t too pretty either. They need Jozy Altidore to really step up in these next few weeks too.
Zardes out for the rest of 2016 | LAG Confidential
Injuries continue to hit LA. Yesterday this one became official as Gyasi Zardes is out with a broken foot. LA still has their three DPs that can do damage but Zardes is a big hit in my book.
Now LA has to rely on their depth | FourFourTwo
Between the injuries to key players and the Nigel de Jong transfer, LA is suddenly looking much different for Bruce Arena.
Lodeiro is doing what few have done before him | FourFourTwo
A midseason DP signing is always risky in MLS as it usually means you are planning more for the future. In Seattle though, Nicolas Lodeiro is proving you can find talent that can contribute right away.
Atlanta’s president confirms Expansion Draft | Dirty South Soccer
We heard from Minnesota’s GM on the same matter a couple weeks back but now we’re getting even more confirmation on the matter.
