Squad Selection: How reserve heavy do you go against Real Esteli?

We have a decent idea of who made the trip to Central America.

MLS: CONCACAF Champions League-Real Esteli FC at FC Dallas Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas is getting set to take on Real Esteli tomorrow night in Nicaragua. Oscar Pareja has brought a pretty strong group with him to Central America. We have a decent clue as to who went thanks to this tweet:

Based on that we can infer that Mauro Diaz, Chris Seitz, Walker Zimmerman, Maxi Urruti and newcomer Norberto Paparatto all stayed in Texas to prepare for Saturday’s game in Houston.

Again, not a bad group but I know I am thankful to see Diaz stay in Texas and not get hit with all this travel and minutes.

And for those wondering about Jesse Gonzalez these last couple of games, he didn’t go anywhere due to injury. I’ve been told Pareja was merely giving Ryan Herman some game day experience for these CCL trips.

Outside of that we know:

OUT: Zach Loyd (concussion)

LOAN: Moises Hernandez (Rayo OKC), Timo Pitter (Energy FC), Colin Bonner (Energy FC)
