This truly is the transfer saga of 2016 in Major League Soccer. First, Fabian Castillo goes on his own to Turkey, attempts to get a reported $4 million transfer fee to Trabzonspor, only to see that deal fall through. Now he is apparently back in the States at the league offices in New York.

Again, the key words in there is that his agent says they are working on getting a deal done to move him to Turkey. Reporters like Jeff Carlisle of ESPNFC.com are already shooting that down.
Just heard from Clavijo & league source. Both say deal is not happening. #FCDallas #FCD https://t.co/UExzXUdk21

At the end of this, all I can continue to say is that Castillo may need a new agent once this is all sorted out. If he didn’t want a five-year deal with FC Dallas back at the beginning of 2015, then why sign it? If he wanted to go to a club that couldn’t work out the money to get him, then why go over to Turkey with no deal completed?
I don’t know about you all but I’m at the point that until we see Castillo in either a FCD uniform this week or a Trabzonspor uniform, I won’t consider this done.
