FC Dallas signs Brazilian forward Getterson

FC Dallas adds depth to their attack.

The rumors came true today as FC Dallas announced the signing of 25-year old Brazilian forward Getterson. The forward will be on loan until the end of the 2016 season from J. Malucelli.

J. Malucelli plays in first division Brazil. The club finished second in in the table in the most-recent season with a record of 6-2-3.

Getterson appeared in 45 matches for J. Malucelli in various competitions between 2013 and 2016. The forward found the back of the net five times in 13 games during the 2016 Paranaense.

This move seemingly feel to FC Dallas out of nowhere this past week. Based on reports, Getterson had signed with São Paulo FC after moving on from J. Malucelli. Though after his signing, it was discovered that five years earlier he had made some disparaging remarks about São Paulo fans. From there the club decided to rip up the deal with the player.

What do you all make of this move? Think Getterson will be a solid addition to the attacking group or will be really only see him play in Champions League games or the remaining USOC games?
