Is FCD going after a Nigerian striker? | Big D Soccer

We found this rumor yesterday and discussed it a little bit. After sleeping on it, my gut tells me this isn't the guy. But we'll see.

Orlando parts ways with Heath | The Mane Land

Usually getting blown out on the road after a tough stretch can do this sort of thing. Adrian Heath had been apart of the organization there in Orlando since their USL days in Austin. Just kind of crazy they're pulling the plug on it.

Revs drop homecoming to NYCFC | The Bent Musket

Geez, don't look now but NYCFC is starting to look like a real contender there in the Eastern Conference (I know isn't saying a ton).

Rivero officially transferred to Chiliean club | Eighty Six Forever

Vancouver now has a free DP slot after dealing Octavio Rivero yesterday. I still believe they'll struggle to reach the post season this year since they have this move and likely a couple more going on.

DCU looking at former Impact HGP Tissot | Black and Red United

It is always interesting these days when a HGP gets waived from a club. Maxim Tissot was one of those guys that got a lot of minutes but somehow didn't work out the way Montreal wanted him to. Being a fullback, I wouldn't mind seeing him get a trial with FCD.

Rapids defense shines | ESPNFC.com

Right now there may not be a better defense in MLS than that in Colorado. At least that is what the numbers say.

We didn't start or stop the Fire | Center Line Soccer

And finally, a little preview of what is to come tomorrow night with San Jose as this Quakes blog looks back at their previous game in what they did and didn't do.
