On tonight's game...

It was a very complete performance. The effort for 90-plus minutes was incredible. Respect for the opponent all the time. We created a lot of situations to score, which was a highlight of the game. At the same time, we had discipline from everybody, decisively, even when leading the game by three or four, we were disciplined, and for me, it shows a lot of respect for the game and respect for what we wanted. A complete performance, I would say. I've very happy to support this important tradition here in Frisco.

On tonight's crowd...

It fabulous to celebrate such an important date as a tradition in Toyota Stadium, here in Frisco, with the stadium full. We invite everyone here in the city to keep joining this group of players who are working hard and trying to bring entertainment, and today was proof of the commitment these guys have with the sport and the city. It was important to create that wave of excitement, and for the people that came today to see the team is working hard.

On Tesho Akindele's unselfish assist on Fabian Castillo's goal...

It meant a lot. The generosity for Tesho after he made the run, and then gave that goal to Fabian just shows the chemistry that they have in the locker room and how much they respect each other. For me, it was fantastic. Credit to Tesho, credit to the team and our play, but also to Fabian who was waiting for that moment. He created many others, but that one given by Tesho was what he was waiting for in the game.

On setting a franchise record 15-game home win unbeaten streak...

I honestly will include the fans and the support they give us every time we come to the stadium, their home. They play a terrific part in supporting the team, helping us, and that's why I keep inviting them to come. This is a record that is not just created by the players, but also by the fans. This is their territory and you see how important it is every time we play at home.

On the big win at home in front of a sellout crowd…

It’s one of our favorite games of the year. The fans were great. We could see them doing the wave. They gave us a lot of energy, and then I liked the Icelandic chant there at the end. It was a great atmosphere tonight.

On achieving a franchise-record 15th straight game without a loss at Toyota Stadium…

That is the type of support you hope to get each match. Hopefully it comes in droves. People came out tonight that normally do not. Hopefully they enjoyed themselves enough to come back. That’s what we want… to develop this fan base with these types of crowds. It definitely helps us.

Talk about the confidence the team has playing a home match…

You go into the game knowing that if you play your game plan, you make a team try and beat you. If someone can do that we’ll tip our hat, but right now, we’re enjoying the streak.

On his goal…

It was something we had drawn up this week based on how they were marking players on video. I got free and Mauro [Diaz] put a good ball in there, and I was fortunate and finished it. Hedge [Matt Hedges] came in there in the second half and finished one on the same play. We switched it up and he got his header. Great job by the coaches of scouting this week and drawing something like that up.

On the upcoming schedule…

We know it will be tough. We are aware there is a lot of competition still to come. It’s good. We need to rest and eat well. I think the team is well prepared. We’ve trained hard for all of the games and tournaments to come. We’ll have to play hard [to get two results on the road in our next matches]. We’ve gotten the points here at home, now it’s time to get them while away.

On Orlando…

I thought they’d come out to play. They have some big players. Each team makes their own decisions on how they want to approach a game. This game was always well contested but luckily we were able to get the advantage.
