Squad Selection: Is FC Dallas back to full strength against Vancouver?

Does Oscar Pareja conserve legs with a busy month ahead?

MLS: FC Dallas at Colorado Rapids Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time in a few weeks, FC Dallas only has one game to deal with this week. On Sunday they host the Vancouver Whitecaps following the league’s All-Star break that saw the club send both Mauro Diaz and Kellyn Acosta to San Jose to battle Arsenal.

Now both of those FCD midfielders should be available this weekend after playing 45 minutes or so on Thursday night. That goes along the trio that FCD sent to San Jose for Wednesday’s Homegrown game against the Mexican U-20s. Jesse Gonzalez, Coy Craft and Aaron Guillen got plenty of minutes on Wednesday in that loss but all three are back in town for this game on Sunday.

The obvious item here is that the Fabian Castillo transfer has not been made official as of this writing. So yes, he is still included here though we strong recommend not selecting him as that will just be wishful thinking at this point. But here are things we do know about player availability this weekend:

OUT: Zach Loyd (concussion)

QUESTIONABLE: Maxi Urruti

LOAN: Moises Hernandez (Rayo OKC), Timo Pitter (Energy FC), Colin Bonner (Energy FC)

So there you have it, pick your 11 and the bench and let us know below who you think should be in the lineup this weekend.
