FC Dallas is getting a must deserved day off again on Tuesday but the front office will be busy.

McKennie seen training in Germany | Big D Soccer

There isn't a ton to go on here but here is some actual confirmation that Weston McKennie is in Germany and is training with Schalke's U-19 team.

FCD women finish successful season |

I'm going to boldly again say that I believe we'll see a NWSL team here in Dallas in the next couple of years. Still, congrats ladies on this accomplishment.

At the ASG break, MLS Cup favorites are anyone's guesses | FourFourTwo

It really is all up for grabs this season. Sure FCD, Colorado and LA have looked the best of the bunch but the East isn't that tough so who knows what will come out of that side. Then there is always the 'team that got hot late' that you know will happen to someone.

How San Jose became one of the top soccer cities in the US |

There is definitely a good bit of history there in San Jose between the old Quakes and the current ones. Plus, that stadium they have now is absolutely one of my favorites in MLS right now.

Sporting rejects offer made on Dwyer |

I'm glad Sporting KC isn't letting Dom Dwyer go that easily here as he is one of the younger players in the league worth watching. Though I also get a sense he doesn't want to pack it up and leave just yet too with his wife having a baby this year and all.

All-Star game needs a new look |

It is ASG week in MLS, at least for those who care about that sort of thing. FCD will lose Mauro Diaz to this midseason game (and no he cannot skip it without good reason as that will suspend him for the Vancouver game..seriously its a rule). Every year it seems we get posts like this that say the ASG needs a reboot. I'm starting to just be over it all.

Borchers out for the season | Stumptown Footy

Boy that is a massive blow to the defending champs here as Nat Borchers goes down with an ACL injury. Portland still has a good amount of talent to go on without him but it won't be easy.

Lodeiro is on his way to Seattle | Sounder at Heart

So help is on the way to Seattle but how much longer will Sigi Schmid be there?
