It is time for a little USOC game day edition of the daily links.

Quick Burns: Which game is more important this week? | Big D Soccer

Our staff discussed the two games this week and what we thought FCD should do to handle the importance of each of them. I still lean towards getting more out of this weekend than the USOC.

We all remember the first match against Houston this season. I know the players do as well.

Another bounce back imminent? | Dallas Soccer News

The thing is, tonight's game won't be easy either way as the Dynamo are looking much better under Wade Barrett and have been unbeaten at home as of late.

Rivalry games in tournaments always, always spark a little more than in the regular season. I would expect a pretty cagey match tonight.

Hedges' leadership fuels the defensive success | MLSSoccer.com

FCD has given up 11 goals with Hedges on the field and 19 without him on the field. So yeah, he's pretty important.

One classy move from the Dallas supporters last week that hasn't been talked about enough was all the banners and support raised for the Dallas police officers that were killed a week and a half ago.

Orlando makes smart choice in Kreis | MLSSoccer.com

Yes, on paper this is a good move but you do have to wonder if this is truly the best or smartest fit for Jason Kreis at the end of the day. He left Salt Lake to get more control in NY but ended up with less and I would imagine Orlando will be a similar situation.

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this way.

Should Orlando take a different approach? | The Mane Land

Now that Kreis is in charge, some changes will have to be made. But can fans and the owners be patient with him in what likely needs to be a slow build here? My thing is can Kreis develop young talent? I never saw much of that in Salt Lake.

And so is Mauro Diaz. Just saying. Still, you can see how we all voted this week for the Player of the Week.

Atlanta or Orlando, which job is more attractive? | Dirty South Soccer

Neither? Two new clubs in a league that takes time to really build a good winner in. Though right now I would lean more towards Atlanta.

Cincinnati's reminder: North America has plenty of top-level markets | FourFourTwo

If you haven't noticed what Cincinnati is doing in the USL this year, then you need to take a moment and do so. They're killing it at the gate, more so than the majority of MLS teams out there. They're officially an expansion underdog in my mind.
