The fun run of shutting teams out is over following last night's blow out loss in Seattle.

A lot of squad rotation last night but the one thought that immediately came to mind when I woke up today was, did we ignite the Seattle offense here for the rest of the season?
If you think about it, the game would have easily been different without the red card for one thing. And it would have been massively different had Matt Hedges, Mauro Diaz, Fabian Castillo, Michael Barrios and Maxi Urruti all played. Just a wee-bit different. Still, I have a hard time blaming Oscar Pareja for gambling this way last night.
The pipeline continues to be stacked. Lets celebrate that for a moment and think about the 'what if' with these squads all winning national titles.

On the flip side of things, Seattle did truly need a win. And a big one at that to really get going here. They still have a long way to go to get out of the Western Conference cellar.
Again, did we spark their offense in a way that is going to push them along and back into the playoff race?
I've chosen not to link to the famed NYT article that came out a couple days ago and was discussed a bunch on Twitter. Don Garber was asked about it and had the expected response to it.
As always, you can see how I voted here in this poll.
A little preview of sorts for this weekend as FC Dallas takes on Chicago this Saturday. The Fire have now won two of their last three.
Another team to keep an eye on for future games in Vancouver, who come to Frisco later this month. They picked up a pretty good win last night at home against RSL, a team that is starting to slump a bit.
