FC Dallas vs Seattle Sounders: Match Predictions

FC Dallas hopes to continue its recent winning ways in Seattle tonight

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Having been a fortress in the many years that Seattle has been in the league, CenturyLink Field has not been as daunting a visit for road teams so far in the 2016 MLS campaign. Seattle has lost at home in their last three MLS matches and will be looking to come out flying on Wednesday evening against an FC Dallas team with a very congested schedule in the last couple of weeks.

The updated standings after a few of our staff members accurately predicted the 1-0 victory in San Jose are as follows. It really still is anybody's competition.

Taylor 28
Cody 25
Phil 25
Mohammad 23
Nathan 22

How do we think tonight's match plays out? Do you agree with our predictions? Sound off in the comments!

Ben Lyon Win 2 1 I just can't quit you. Seattle will be desperate, but I think Sigi's coming to the end of the line. A Maxi brace outpaces Sounders, who score an own goal to make it interesting.
Cody Gamond Win 3 1 Urruti finally hits the post and it goes in, Castillo gets a goal, and Gruezo gets his name on the sheet too.
Drew Epperley Draw 1 1 Lots of games back-to-back just spell a draw to me.
Jack Hazzard

Jared Tilley Draw 1 1 Barrios is able to get on the end of a nice through ball and chip the goalie. FCD tires in the second half and holds on for a point.
Jason Poon Loss 2 1 *angry*
Mohammad Bushnaq Draw 2 2 Akindele and Lizarazo provide the scoring for FC Dallas in my wishful thinking prediction because 10:30 PM games on the east coast are bad enough. If this ends 0-0, someone come check up on me in my apartment.
Nathan Hill Loss 2 1

Seattle comes away with a big win despite an early Castillo goal. FCD is disheartened but they jam moodily to Nirvana's Unplugged cd on the flight back and exact a crushing revenge on Chicago.

Phil Luetchford Draw 1 1 Both teams start a rotated lineup. It's a sloppy game that no-one enjoys watching. Mauro scores but it's the other Mauro, Rosales, on a free kick.
Ryan Scalon Draw 0 0 Terrible game to watch. Not fun at all. But good news is no one gets hurt.
Scott Hiney

Per the agreement of our loan policy with FC Dallas' front office, Scott Hiney will forfeit his predictions until the loan comes to an end.
