If you were on the social medias last night, you might have caught a couple of tweets and grams regarding a certain Magical Unicorn headed off to Italy and the wild speculation to whether FC Dallas had sold Mauro Diaz or not.
Mauro Diaz put this on his Instagram:

And then the trolling was taken to another level thanks to Maxi Urruti who responded with "We will miss you in Dallas! Good luck brother!"
At that moment, it seemed very much like Dallas has done the inevitable, but Technical Director, Fernando Clavijo cleared things up with a single, well timed 140 character tweet at us to calm our frantic selves:
@BigDSoccer guys, love the enthusiasm but Mauro is going to Italy for personal reasons and have nothing to do with a transfer.

And finally, the face and voice of FCD, Daniel Robertson also weighed in, assuring that we've just been punked.
Y'all a bunch of easy targets for the two biggest pranksters on the team.

Sooner or later, this club is going to sell Mauro Diaz. But thankfully, that time hasn't come yet.
Enjoy your trip Mr. Diaz! Drink from the same espresso bar that Sebastian Giovinco did and take in all his powers.
