Seeing both Mauro Diaz and Maxi Urruti score in the same game is a good thing. Also, is Fabian Castillo back to his old ways? I think so.
Lets just say folks in Colorado weren't pleased with the way things went last night. While I agree the Agustin Jara tackle in the first half was bad, saying FCD thugged their way to a win is pretty harsh.
A lot of praise came down after the game last night and for plenty of good reasons too. As much as things got ugly late in the game, FCD looked like the better side in this one. Those next meetings with the Rapids are going to be crazy intense.

Looks like we get the Dynamo later this month. Time for some actual revenge in Houston if you ask me.
New England had issues in this one but came away with the winner over the NY Cosmos.
Talk about getting a late game winner. The NASL side waited until the 120th minute to get the victory from Orlando City.
Things got a bit crazy up in Philly last night as the Union bested New York. I saw a crazy stat last night too during this one that in non-qualifying games in the USOC (there once were MLS qualifiers for this thing), NY hasn't beaten a MLS team in over a decade in the USOC.
Like I said, things for crazy.
I kind of thought going into this round that things were set up for a Portland-Seattle clash in the quarterfinals. Instead, we'll get a Galaxy-Sounders clash. Yippie.
Some pretty exciting stuff up in Vancouver last night with the Caps and TFC. I still laugh that this winner determines who goes to the CCL in the 17-18 tournament. A year ahead.
I'll leave with this post on how bad things are in the Eastern Conference. Or as I like to call it, the forced parity conference.
