FC Dallas vs Real Salt Lake: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

FC Dallas looks to remain hot against RSL at home.

MLS: FC Dallas at Real Salt Lake Jeff Swinger-USA TODAY Sports

FC Dallas is back home to close out the regular season slate in the month of June as they get a visit from Real Salt Lake.

RSL is coming off a 2-1 win on Wednesday night at home over New York Red Bulls. FC Dallas will look to expose the tired legs of RSL as they look to extend their home unbeaten run.

FC Dallas notes:

Last year agains RSL. FC Dallas won both meetings between the teams a year ago, a 1-0 win Aug. 29 in Frisco, and a 2-0 win Oct. 17 at Rio Tinto Stadium. FCD has come away with points on four of their last five trips to Sandy, with a win and two draws, dating back to 2012.

Injury update. So far the only injury to really discuss is that of Zach Loyd. We talked earlier in the week how he broke his nose in the USOC game that resulted in a concussion. No timetable has been announced for his return.

Key player for FCD: Fabian Castillo. Even with the rumors swirling around about his future with the club, the young Colombian has to regain his 2015 form here starting this weekend. He had a couple chances last week in KC that fell flat in the end, but FCD needs a strong outing from him on the wings to expose a team that should be a bit gassed in this one due to the quick turn around, travel and heat.

Biggest question: Does FC Dallas return to their strong lineup choice?

It has been pointed out a few times as of late as to how many lineup chances Oscar Pareja has had to do this season. This will likely be another game where he has to make a change to his starting XI from last week, but that may be a good thing to get Mauro Diaz and Carlos Gruezo back in a starting role.
