It truly is a day of rumors around these parts as things are starting to pick up fast in the silly season. Earlier the reports of Alex Zendejas being sold to Chivas became official and following that were the talks of Fabian Castillo going to Turkey. But what about some players coming into Frisco? Well, there are two being tossed around right now.
One is Trinidadian defender Aubrey David:

And the other is former Columbus defender Hernan Grana:

So yes, two defenders being rumored our way. Grana is an interesting fit given his ties to MLS with Columbus last season. He didn’t last long with the Crew as he only made it to the middle of May before returning to Argentina. Reports that he left the Crew due to being homesick.
Grana is a fullback and would definitely bring a strong veteran presences to the back line.
David is an interesting prospect as he had played for teams in Trinidad, Finland and more recently with Saprissa in Costa Rica. His most recent call up with his national team was in the 2013 Gold Cup too.
Again, these are rumors so take what you will with them. If I had to pick between the two, I would definitely lean towards Grana. What do you make of this day of rumors?
