The fun run for the United States in Copa America came to a crashing halt last night.

Here is a look back at some of the nitty gritty details of Sunday's loss in KC. Yes the refs were bad but there were a lot of issues on the field too for FC Dallas that can't be unnoticed.
We haven't seen a lot of rookie Ryan Herman this season as he has been third in the depth charts but at least he has had some game day experiences while Jesse Gonzalez has been out with national team duty. My gut tells me we'll see him at least once this season.
We always talk about how good the U-16 and U-18 teams are but this is a weekend that they will really have to put the talk to rest and prove their worth in the academy playoffs.
As the bulk of the academy playoffs get underway today, here is a good look at a guy that puts in a ton of work off the field and it is showing for FCD on the field.
I missed this piece the other day, but it is still worth a share this morning. Walker Zimmerman has come a long way this season.

This is a fairly clever list of things. I'm sure it was something completely different though in the end.
TFC is really starting to come into some good form here as of late.

Sloppy defending early, plus some Messi greatness before the half really set the tone for how bad the US looked on Tuesday night.
Yeah, it just wasn't pretty at all last night for the US. Though I'm not entirely sure that Jermaine Jones, Bobby Wood or Alejandro Bedoya would have made it any better.
Oh yeah, there is that too on Saturday that the US have to deal with now. They'll get the loser of Chile-Columbia. So that will be fun either way.
To have an extra couple days rest didn't even make a difference too.
