It has been announced that Dallas, Texas native Emerson Hyndman has joined Premier League side AFC Bournemouth. The former Dallas Texan product has decided to allow his contract to expire with his current FL Championship side Fulham FC in order to sign a four-deal at Vitality Stadium.

According to Bournemouth's website, because of Hyndman's age, both Fulham and the Cherries had to agree on a mutual fee for the 20-year-old before he could finalize a move to the Premier League club. However, no reports have been issued suggesting the estimated fee of the transfer.

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake commented highly about the Dallas native, claiming he is excited to see him shine in the Premier League.

"We've moved swiftly in the window to secure Emerson’s signature and we are delighted to have finalised the deal to bring such a promising young talent to AFC Bournemouth.

"Emerson is a highly rated young player and already boasts international experience, so will be a welcome addition to Eddie and Jason's squad.

“We now look forward to seeing him in action at Vitality Stadium in of our second season in the top flight."

Hyndman originally began his promising career with the historic Dallas youth club, the Dallas Texans. In 2010, while at age 14, Emerson made the switch to FC Dallas' youth system, where developed until he was 15. In 2011, Hyndman made the major switch across the Atlantic to join the then-Premier League club Fulham F.C., where he continued to develop until his recent move.

Hyndman made his senior debut with Fulham on August 9, 2014, against Ipswitch Town in the Championship, where he started and played the full 90. The Dallas native went on to make 24 senior appearances for the London club 2014 and 2016 before electing to move to Bournemouth.

Not only is the 20-year-old shining in England, he is also impressing on the international stage. Hyndman has been moving up slowly but surely through the United States' national teams. The midfielder has spent time with U17s, U20s, and U23s, but on August 28, 2014, Jurgen Klinsmann selected the Fulham product for a friendly against the Czech Republic, making his senior debut as a sub in the 67th minute.

It is always exciting to see a Dallas, Texas native succeed professionally. Hyndman has huge shoes to fill in order to follow in the footsteps of former Dallas Texan products Clint Dempsey and Omar Gonzalez.

The 20-year-old is set to join AFC Bournemouth in early July for pre-season.
