It is game day again around these parts as the USOC run for FC Dallas begins at SMU tonight.

We're still waiting to get more to the bottom of this rumor but it does sound intriguing though.
Some of the younger FCD players were on hand recently for a clinic put on by the team and SNHU. It was the Science of Soccer, which featured several subjects that players were discussing. Really interesting stuff.
If we're talking about games like the one in New England, then yes. A hundred times yes.

Here is a good recap of all of last night's USOC games in MLS, mostly Western Conference teams were in action. All had their hands full with their opposition too.
Probably the most surprising result of last night was in LA as the Galaxy had to go into extra time to get past a USPL side. Yeah, a team that is below the PDL side of things in the US soccer pyramid.
The other surprising result may have been in Salt Lake as RSL had to mount a comeback on a USL side that had to travel the furthest for this round.
DCU now has signed their eighth HGP in Chris Durkin, a very young kid that apparently has some solid background in the youth game. He'll apparently get some minutes in the USOC tonight.
Both Orlando soccer teams are banning with some other local organizations to raise funds for the victims' families from last weekend's terrible scene. You have to really give it up to the front office there in Orlando for really getting behind their city like this.

After the way they blew through their group phase, I honestly think this tournament is their's to lose right now.
Now that the group phase is all said and done, the real tournament may be getting underway here for Messi.
The best looking match of the quarterfinals to me has to be the Mexico-Chile game. Should be a classic.
