The backstory on Jara |

This is a very fascinating story on Agustin Jara, FCD's latest signing. Crazy to think a young kid like this would pay his own way to get training here. It worked out for him in the end as he debuted last weekend.

FCD trio to play in Dirk's celebrity baseball game |

I've long wanted to go to Dirk's baseball game in years past but this year may be a really good reason to go as Ryan Hollingshead, Chris Seitz and Walker Zimmerman are all going to participate in it.

Its truly Tesho time | Dallas Soccer News

Tesho Akindele is really starting to come into his own here in his third season with FCD. Five goals already on the season, more minutes, and his level of play has improved so much.

Andrea Pirlo had some interesting comments yesterday. Part of it sounds like sour grapes but I think that is just what you get from a guy like Pirlo. He's not that wrong though.

Coaches shine in Rivalry week |

Yes, I do think Oscar Pareja had a good weekend. Oh wait, no we weren't in a rivalry game. Yeah okay, whatever.

Keane hopes to play with Ronaldo in LA |

It feels like Robbie Keane has been in LA for ages now and it appears he wants to start to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo to Southern California. Seems natural I suppose.

Wondo signs contract extension | Center Line Soccer

Chris Wondolowski won't be going anywhere anytime soon in MLS. But we do know he won't be available this weekend for the Quakes when they take on FCD.

I think a lot will be said about this tournament once it is over but right now, this roster doesn't look like one that will beat some big South American clubs.

What Klinsmann got right and wrong |

This one is from the other day but worth sharing again if you haven't read it.
