After a successful two game home stand, where FC Dallas picked up a pair of crucial wins, the Hoops go coast to the coast for their next two matches with a stop in Boston against the New England Revolution in Saturday.
Some of our writers covered some thoughts on what we would like to see from this road trip. We're all mostly in agreement, that we just want to see some better performances and not get blown out 3-0 and 4-0. For me, I want to see the team grind out some ugly results. With six points in six away matches, Dallas is actually holding on well to the standard of "win at home, draw on the road". If Dallas can get two points from this trip, it'll be a success.
As of May 17th, the official league report has the following listed:
OUT: M Alex Zendejas (osteitis pubis)
QUESTIONABLE: D Matt Hedges (torn meniscus 4/13, out 4-6 weeks)
QUESTIONABLE: F Maximiliano Urruti (left ankle sprain)
Though, reports from Oscar Pareja is that both Matt Hedges and Maxi Urruti are in the mix for selection. So read into all of that how you please. On loan are the usual suspects with Coy Craft and Moises Hernandez out.
Assuming Hedges is available, who would you start in the back of the defense? Do you ease the captain in slowly and keep the Zach Loyd-Walker Zimmerman tandem going or does Hedges get an automatic starting spot every time? What about the middle of the field? Is it time for a little rotation and get Juan Esteban Ortiz a few minutes along with Carlos Lizarazo? Give us your thoughts below.
