View from the West? Stand: Other side

Ventured to the other side of the stadium for this match up against Seattle. Just to see what the west was about.

Is it just me? I can't be the only one who thought it was chilly in a short sleeve shirt and jeans. It was thankfully clear weather in Frisco on a mildly chilly night, with Clint Dempsey and the Seattle Sounders coming into town for our second Cascadia match of the week. There's always a large crowd when the Sounders come to town and this match didn't disappoint in that regard. Hollingshead also got some love from the crowd as they chanted what might be his new nickname.

Very nice attendance

Looks like the Sounders brought the crowd with a sexy match up. The West was pretty well populated as was the east stand as well. Seattle Sounders brought their usual population of fans scattered throughout the stadium and in the visitors section as well. The security at the stadium was tight but pleasantly quicker this time around. Got to our seats just in time to see Mauro Diaz slot in the goal from the penalty spot. What a start!

Man-Bun!

As the match wore on, the fans behind me seemed to have formed their own Ryan Hollingshead fan club. Chants of "man-bun! man-bun! man-bun!" whenever Hollingshead had the ball were fairly amusing. After the mid-week goal and the exceptional play at right back, it's no surprise that Ryan is getting the love from the fans. After all, who doesn't love a guy named Ryan?

Overall this was a great game, crowd was out and about, clean sheet giving Seattle fans nothing to cheer about and 2 goals meaning half price Papa John's on Sunday! Also Cane's. Can never forgot Cane's. Shame they won't be back until the 2nd of next month. So far away...

Finally, your fan quote of the night: "MAN-BUN! MAN-BUN! MAN-BUN!" - Never cut the hair HoHead.

Who else was watching from the west side of the stadium? Anyone else down with the man-bun fan club? Who impressed you the most out of the FC Dallas players? Let me know in the comments below!
