FCD vs Portland: The good and bad | Big D Soccer

Plenty to go off of from the win on Wednesday night. The team looked better defensively as a whole but the offense is still struggling.

Zimmerman on the Portland win: keep battling and fighting | FCDallas.com

A couple of our guys here at BDS believe that Walker Zimmerman is inching closer to filling that Blas Perez passion quota on this club. He played excellent on Wednesday night and will need another strong performance this weekend.

Crew move Kamara after outbursts | Massive Report

The whole week has really been about one player in MLS, Kei Kamara. Late Wednesday/early Thursday the MLS world got turned upside down as the Crew and New England agreed on a trade. I have been told FCD did inquire about Kamara but the bidding war that took place was too much for them. New England sent so much allocation (GAM and TAM) along with draft picks and an international roster slot.

New England traded a lot away but now get a guy that may fit their attack very nicely. I still think it will be worth looking at some of their younger players when the next transfer window reopens. Kellyn Rowe or Juan Agudelo would fit well here I would think.

I can't disagree with much in this post. I do kind of think New England gave up too much while the Crew immediately have a ton of money and cap space to play with this summer.

Last bit on this trade, I promise.

Basically what you need to know (if you didn't already) is that the Eastern Conference is mega weak this season. There I said it.

Wait, say what? I've been thinking all along he'd end up with the other LA squad but the Galaxy make sense once they dump Steven Gerrard.
