Ranking Recaps: The stumbling continued for FC Dallas

The week 10 power rankings weren't kind to FC Dallas.

The rough road trip ended for FC Dallas last week with another loss which meant their spot in the various Power Rankings was not good again.

Note: It should be pointed out that the majority of these rankings came out earlier in the week before FCD's win over Portland.

MLSSoccer.com Ranking: 7 (last week 5)

Comment: The lack of a Blas Perez replacement is starting to tell. Dallas never have an easy outlet, and even a team with this much skill occasionally needs someone they can hoof the ball toward.

Soccer America Ranking: 10 (last week 6)

Comment: A third straight shutout extended FCD’s losing streak to three games, during which it has been outscored, 8-0. On Wednesday, FCD hosts the Portland, which it beat at Providence Park, 3-1, last month.

ESPNFC.com Ranking: 9 (last week 4)

Comment: Oscar Pareja's team will be happy to be back at Toyota Stadium when they host the Timbers on Wednesday after a three-game road trip that turned into a three-game losing streak.

SI.com Ranking: 11 (Last week 4)

Comment: Dallas was handed a tough assignment, serving as fodder for Toronto FC in the re-opening of an absolutely electric BMO Field on Saturday. Dallas got cut open by a superb Sebastian Giovinco assist on Toronto’s goal, and could have earned a point with better finishing. Still, three consecutive losses, continued defensive issues, and weakness away from home all spell trouble,

SBI Soccer Ranking: 9 (last week 8)

Comment: A three-game road trip produced a three-game losing streak for FC Dallas. Surprisingly, it has been the attack that has sputtered in recent weeks, with the latest defeat, a shutout, serving as a bit of a message. FC Dallas needs more reliable options up front, even with all of the attacking talent creating from the center of the field.
