Coy Craft officially loaned to Oklahoma City Energy FC

The Homegrown forward will be available for OKC this weekend.

Coy Craft could get his first minutes of the season this weekend as he has been officially loaned by FC Dallas to USL affiliate Oklahoma City Energy FC.

Craft is eligible to play for Energy FC in Saturday's game against St. Louis FC. He had been training with OKC all week ahead of their game.

No word yet from FC Dallas on whether or not this is a long-term loan or just for this weekend.

Energy FC is currently 0-1-0 on the season as they lost to Colorado Springs last weekend in their season opener.

The Virginia native is the first FC Dallas player loaned out this season to the new USL affiliate in Oklahoma. Hopefully this will be the start of several loans that happen for some of the younger players that are on the roster that need minutes. Rookies Timo Pitter, Colin Boner, and Ryan Herman are also good candidates to get loans in the near future. Same could be said for another Homegrown in Alejandro Zendejas, once he is healthy from his preseason groin injury.
