Things didn't get off on the right foot for FC Dallas in the month of April.

Oscar Pareja mentioned after Saturday's game that Mauro Diaz was close to playing against the Crew despite the knock he took in Friday's training. He tried to get it a go before lineups were due but in the end FCD held him out as a precautionary measure.
Another game for Kellyn Acosta where he played a bit out of position in the CAM role. It wasn't a terrible plan by Pareja but at the same time it wasn't great either.
Chris Seitz may have been another surprise starter on the night for some people with Jesse Gonzalez back from international duty but the veteran keeper came up huge on several moments.
Time to look at the other side of things following Saturday's draw as the Crew remain winless on the season after four games. I don't see how that will last much longer, that team is way to talented to be winless for much longer.

Matt Doyle checks in with his usual weekend recap as it was a doozy of a weekend. Seattle got their first win, Orlando hammered Portland and there were a slew of red cards to make it even more interesting.
Orlando struggled at times in this one but when it mattered most, they looked very good against the defending champions. Also, that Brek Shea goal was something else.
More controversy with ref Mark Geiger as Friday night proved to be one of those games that was ugly already between New England and New York but both teams felt they got Geigered.
Folks in Colorado seem to question everything these days, even when their team wins. But I do agree that the lack of a crowd showing up there is a real cause for concern.
Benny Fielhaber is never shy about being bold both on and off the field.
