FC Dallas has signed Victor Ulloa and Ryan Hollingshead to new multi-year contracts today.
Ulloa, who captained FC Dallas for the first time this past weekend has been a consistent fixture in the club's lineup since Oscar Pareja started him on March 29, 2014. Ulloa logged 2,365 in 2014, and 2,915 in 2015. He added two goals and an assist as the team advanced to the Western Conference Final. Ulloa has appeared in every match for FC Dallas this season. Dallas has a 4-0-0 record and has outscored teams 10-2 in matches when Ulloa plays the full 90 minutes.
The 25-year old Hollingshead was draft in 2013 out of UCLA. He took a year off from playing before returning to Dallas in 2014 under Pareja. He finished last season with two goals and three assists and ranked fifth in minutes played (2,171). He started the last six matches for FC Dallas this season, in which the team has a 4-0-2 record.
We won't know what salary each player is going to be moving to with these new contracts but last year they were minimum-based salaries with the team. Each getting a new deal is well deserved.
