Jesse Gonzalez called into Mexican U-23 camp

Chris Seitz seems like the likely candidate to be in goal tomorrow.

FC Dallas Homegrown keeper Jesse Gonzalez is joining the Mexican U-23 national team for a weekend camp ahead of the upcoming Toulon Tournament.

The camp begins on Sunday and goes through next Wednesday. The Toulon Tournament will run May 18-29 this year. Several teams that are participating in the Summer Olympics will be at the Toulon Tournament.

Mexico is going to use this tournament as a way to prepare for the Summer Olympics in Rio later this summer. Mexico was drawn into a tough group at the Olympics with Fiji, Republic of Korea and Germany.

Gonzalez will join Houston Dynamo striker Erick Torres for this camp as the only MLS players involved. You can see the full roster here.

This is the third time Gonzalez has been called up by the Mexican U-23s this season. FC Dallas will likely use Chris Seitz for Sunday's game against Sporting KC. It also means we'll see rookie keeper Ryan Herman make the game-day roster again for the second time this season.
