FC Dallas returns home from a thrilling trip to Portland, bagging three goals and an all important three points from a Western Conference rival. Dallas is now riding a five-game unbeaten streak , but face their toughest test to date against a strong Sporting Kansas City side who sit just two points behind Dallas for first place in the Western Conference and Supporter's Shield race.
Mauro Diaz is now officially listed on the league injury report, but as we all know these reports are about as reliable as the weather report. So take this with a grain of salt, but this is all we have at the moment:
OUT: M Alex Zendejas (osteitis pubis)
OUT: M Mauro Diaz (undisclosed injury)
OUT: M Carlos Gruezo (yellow card accumulation suspension)
OUT: F Coy Craft (loan)
So with those absences in mind, who do you think gets selected into the starting lineup this Sunday? Who takes Gruezo's spot in the midfield? Is it Juan Esteban Ortiz's time to get a start?
The goalkeeper situation has also been a fun one to watch so far. Oscar Pareja has continued to stick with veteran Chris Seitz for three straight games, but is it time to rotate in Jesse Gonzalez or has Seitz won the starting job back for the time being?
Then how will you adjust the formation? Dallas was successful running the 4-4-2 against Portland, but would you opt to add another midfielder to help control the middle since SKC is tied for third in the league on possession? Or would you just drop Akindele into the midfield again when on defense?
So many choices, so much fun! Tell us what you'll do and don't forget to sound off in the comments!
