FC Dallas downs champs, surges to the top of the league |

Thanks to a SKC loss at home against Colorado last night and the win in Portland, FC Dallas is back at the top of the table where they belong.

Three first half goals boost Dallas in win |

It did look a little easy at times last night in Portland.

Timbers completely fall apart in loss to Dallas | The Oregonian

We've seen results like that before but on the bad side like Portland is experiencing this morning. Portland is definitely feeling the price you pay as a defending champion as everyone gives you their best shot.

Garbage fire lit as Timbers lose | Stumptown Footy

Yikes, that is one way to react to the loss. But if you were a Timber fan last night you'd probably feel the same way as their defense got lit up in all kinds of ways by FCD's attack.

No rest for FCD here as they have to quickly look ahead to Sunday's clash at home with SKC. Sporting didn't start a normal lineup in this one and it showed as they looked lost at times against a Colorado team that is for lack of better terms puzzling to watch.

Red Bulls can recover from slow start |

The dirt is turning at DCU's stadium site | Black and Red United

Until the shovels are really moving the dirt, then I'll get excited by this stadium. Heck, it may not excite me until the steel goes up and the seats are installed.

How strong is out of state support for Orlando City? | The Mane Land

A pretty interesting look at what other states support one of the newer clubs in the league. I'd be curious to know what it is like for FCD as well.
