After two straight draws, FC Dallas picked up a nice win last night in Portland.

Thanks to a SKC loss at home against Colorado last night and the win in Portland, FC Dallas is back at the top of the table where they belong.
It did look a little easy at times last night in Portland.
We've seen results like that before but on the bad side like Portland is experiencing this morning. Portland is definitely feeling the price you pay as a defending champion as everyone gives you their best shot.
Yikes, that is one way to react to the loss. But if you were a Timber fan last night you'd probably feel the same way as their defense got lit up in all kinds of ways by FCD's attack.

Don't look now but Chris Wondolowski is back to his old self in the goal scoring department.
No rest for FCD here as they have to quickly look ahead to Sunday's clash at home with SKC. Sporting didn't start a normal lineup in this one and it showed as they looked lost at times against a Colorado team that is for lack of better terms puzzling to watch.
Despite the 2-0 loss on the road last night and the other losses, I don't know if New York can regain their mojo from 2015 anytime soon. They just look lost out there.
I know I would struggle if FCD had a guy like Nigel de Jong playing for them. You'd almost have to take it a game at a time with the way things go with him.
Until the shovels are really moving the dirt, then I'll get excited by this stadium. Heck, it may not excite me until the steel goes up and the seats are installed.
A pretty interesting look at what other states support one of the newer clubs in the league. I'd be curious to know what it is like for FCD as well.
