Comment: Dominated an outmatched Philly team, but ended the day with a big worry after Fabian Castillo was stretchered off with an abductor injury. They have the depth to manage without the Colombian in the short term, but if they're going to be the top team in the West they'll need him back soon.

Soccer America Ranking - 2

Comment: Fabian Castillo's goal in the 21st minute punctuated an opening period during which FCD opened up the Union back line several times, and Max Urruti blasted home the clinching goal of a 2-0 victory after knocking the ball loose for Mauro Diaz to serve into his path. Carlos Gruezo and Maynor Figueroa were solid in their FCD debuts; a strong tackle by Gruezo started the first-goal sequence.

Comment: Óscar Pareja's men didn't struggle much to put away Philadelphia, taking a 2-0 win that could have been a lot more lopsided if not for some goalkeeping heroics, but losing Fabián Castillo late could be a big blow.

Comment: A solid performance for FC Dallas against a team they should beat. In truth, FC Dallas could have easily by more against a Union side that was forced to hold on for dear life. However, FC Dallas was certainly dealt a loss of their own with the injury to Fabian Castillo, who looks set to miss several weeks of action.
