FC Dallas vs Columbus Crew: Squad Selection

The boys are back in town

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The men in Yellow.(..ish? OK, why did the Crew have to go and ruin a perfectly good kit?) descend into Frisco this weekend, winless in their opening three matches (0W 2L 1D). The Crew has really struggled to find the back of the net, having only tallied two goals thus far in their 2016 campaign, despite being 8th in the league in shots (50) and being tied for 9th in shots on goal (15). Their xG (per AmericanSoccerAnalysis) is a respectable 4.11, giving cause to believe that they've just been a bit unlucky to start the year.

Where Columbus has struggled, Dallas has flourished (barring that one game that shall not be mentioned), holding 3 clean sheets to start the year and has found goals on a regular basis thanks to the heroics of Mauro Diaz and Maxi Urruti. And after a weekend of losing 7 key contributors to this team last weekend due to international duty, Dallas will have practically a full lineup again and a wealth of players to choose from.

As of 3/29, the official injury report is as follows:

Out

M Alex Zendejas (osteitis pubis)

So what will it be? Do you leave Zach Loyd in the lineup after having seen his heroics of 4 blocks last weekend? Does Zimmerman return into the CB position? Where does Ryan Hollingshead start? Is this the game to rest Fabian Castillo and let Mauro Rosales pull the strings a bit? Pick out your starting XI below.

You can see the results here.
