FC Dallas has made one more roster addition today by signing rookie forward Colin Bonner.
Bonner was drafted in the third round out of UNC-Wilmington. The 21-year old had a fairly decent preseason with the club as he showed well in the club's finale against OKC Energy FC last weekend. During his college career with UNC-Wilmington, he scored 23 goals and added 15 assists in 75 starts. The Maryland native was also a 2015 NSCAA First Team All-Midwest Region selection as a senior.
The addition of Bonner puts the FCD roster at 26 of 28 available slots.
This adds another forward to the mix as well for FC Dallas this season with fellow rookie Timo Pitter, Carlos Lizarazo, Coy Craft, Tesho Akindele and Maximilano Urruti. What do you think of the depth of this group now that it has added a couple players this week? Do you think Bonner is destined to be with USL side OKC on loan this year?
