MLS will have to continue to wait a little longer in the CCL as two teams crashed out last night.

The home record was pretty solid last year outside of the playoff loss and that ridiculous loss to the Rapids early in the year. This year may really hinge on the team being unbeaten at Toyota Stadium.
I may be one of the few that think a lot of this season may rest on Fabian Castillo's shoulders, more so than Mauro Diaz's.
Pretty solid outlook on the team but that projected lineup with Kellyn Acosta at left back is rather odd.

DCU didn't look as bad as LA last night but neither were able to do much in their second leg games. LA in fact were completely blown out by Santos Laguna.
A 1-1 tie certainly wasn't going to cut it when DCU was down 2-0 on aggregate heading into this game. To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure DCU has enough talent to be a big contender again this season in the Eastern Conference.
Bruce Arena even stated after the game that none of his stars showed up, which may be saying something. Their rebuild has a long way to go here.
Some will say there will be lessons to learn following MLS's crash out of the CCL but it may not be about that according to this post.
Back to DCU for a moment, seeing that their midfield lacked a bite without Kitchen shows how badly they probably needed to fork over the money to keep him. But it is hard to keep a young guy with dreams of Europe.
Naturally the FCD question is about youth. Sometimes I do wish people asked other things about this team.
Let's just say the ESPN folks are feeling pretty good about FCD's chances this year.
