FCD Notes:

El Capitan. The clubs play for "El Capitán", the 19th‐century Mountain Howitzer cannon to be awarded to the winner of the season series by supporters groups for both clubs. Last year was the first season since 2011 the teams met more than once in the regular season, with both back in the Western Conference.

Out of the gate. According to the club's game notes, under Oscar Pareja, Dallas has a 7‐0‐2 record in March (identical 3‐0‐1 records in 2014/15 and last week's 2‐0 victory). Since 2013, FC Dallas has only lost once, a 3‐1 loss at Chivas USA on March 10, 2013 - giving Dallas an 11‐1‐2 record in March in the last three years.

How to watch

Kickoff: 7:30 PM

Venue: BBVA Compass Stadium

TV: TXA 21

Online: MLS Live

Projected lineups: Obviously the big question centers around whether or not Castillo will get the start after injuring his adductor last week against Philadelphia. Ryan Hollingshead or Tesho Akindele appear to be natural replacements on the wing for him in this game should Pareja opt to go with saving Castillo for a week to be safe. Outside of that change, there shouldn't be too many more moves to the starting lineup that dominated Philadelphia a week ago at home.
