For the first time in a few years, FC Dallas will be beginning its campaign on the road at the LA Galaxy on Sunday March 4th. FC Dallas will also not play at home in the second week of the season, helping Sporting Kansas City open up at home on Sunday March 11th.
What is the reason for this late start at home?
FC Dallas will be at Toyota Stadium for the first time in the MLS season on Saturday March 18th against our fellow red, white, and blue team, the New England Revolution.
Given that FC Dallas is at Arabe Unido for the CONCACAF Champions League on March 1st, the first few weeks of the season will be tough. FC Dallas needs a strong result at home in February against Arabe Unido to help lessen the job that needs to be done before First Kick.
Our old friend Daniel Robertson also pointed out that the semifinals for the CCL would be a few days before the home opener, so we will see what this team is made of in the first month of the season should they advance past Arabe Unido.

Nevertheless, this is exciting news for FC Dallas fans! What do you think of the sizzling start to the season? Think MLS could have cut FC Dallas some slack on the scheduling? Chime in!
