Bio:

It has been three years since the last time American forward Kenny Cooper graced FC Dallas with his talents.

Following a lackluster season throughout the FC Dallas organization in 2013, the Maryland native moved on to the Seattle Sounders, where he found minimal success.

On April 12, 2015, Cooper packed up his bags and moved to the Montreal Impact, where he only made one appearance before dropping down to the side’s reserve team, FC Montreal, in the USL.

Cooper would then play one match with the Impact’s B Team before disappearing for good.

Last Seen:

Since Cooper’s departure in Montreal, the 32-year-old striker has been nowhere to be found. The most recent reports suggest he had a brief training period with the now-deceased NASL side, the New York Cosmos.

Since then, silence.

Additional Details:

Although Cooper’s whereabouts are unknown, the former FC Dallas forward remains close to many Dallas fans’ hearts. The six foot three inches striker was a pivotal piece to Dallas’ success from 2006 to 2009, appearing in 90 matches and scoring 40 goals for the side.

After taking a chance in Germany, Cooper wandered the globe looking for playing time. After stints with 1860 Munich and Plymouth Argyle, the 32-year-old took off to Portland and New York before arriving back home to Dallas in 2013. However, Cooper’s return was not what he deserved.

Cooper’s homecoming was met with an irrational change in position by Schellas Hyndman that clearly imploded on the pitch. The now-fired head coach attempted to convert the strong and slow forward into a winger. Without any surprise, the maneuver was a failure, resulting in Cooper to move away and Hyndman to be fired.

Notes:

With all of the clamor that suggests Dallas needs another striker, why not bring Cooper home again?

We have seen old club legends such as Carlos Ruiz return to Dallas, so why not Kenny?

As for now, a return to Dallas for Cooper is nothing but a dream. All we can ask for is to see the large striker return to the pitch.
