Carlos Gruezo and Aubrey David called into national team duty

FC Dallas is off this week from league play and a couple players have been called into national team duty for the October FIFA break. Carlos Gruezo (Ecuador) and Aubrey David (Trinidad & Tobago) have been called in by their respective national teams that runs through next Tuesday.

Gruezo joins Ecuador as they get back into CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying. Los Amarillo will host Chile on Thursday, October 6 at Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa. Ecuador will then follow that up with a trip to Bolivia next Tuesday. Gruezo hopes to earn his 18th and 19th caps in this trip.

David joins the Soca Warriors as they host the Dominican Republic in Caribbean Cup action at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday. They then have another Caribbean Cup match on Monday at the Stade Municipal Pierre-Aliker in Fort-de-France, Martinique when they take on Les Matinino.

Both players will be back from national team duty next week as FC Dallas gets set to take on the Seattle Sounders.
