While FC Dallas was busy handling their business on Saturday night against the LA Galaxy, two FCD players were on loan with USL affiliate OKC Energy FC in their first round playoff game. One player in-particular came up huge for OKC in their 3-2 win over Rio Grande Valley Toros FC.
Colin Bonner came on in the second half for OKC and scored not one but two stoppage time goals to help lift OKC from elimination. The first came off a flip throw-in and then the second off a corner kick.

RGV had the early advantage on a Ruben Luna goal in the first half. Yes, that same Luna that used to be a FCD Homegrown player. He’s done quite well for himself this season with the Houston Dynamo USL affiliate (yeah that felt weird to type...).
Bonner was also named the Man of the Match in the process, after the club opted to veto the fan vote.
Gonna use our veto power on this one and we don’t think you’ll mind.
