The final busy week of the regular season kicks into full gear here as FC Dallas is heading south to Guatemala.

While nothing has been officially announced by the club, it appears Diaz is off to North Carolina to get things taken care of here.
On the short end he will miss the playoffs, but on the long end we’re looking at getting him back around June of next year. Eek.
That last little touch from Mauro Diaz was special but so was that awareness from Carlos Ruiz to get that play going in the first place.
All they need is a draw in this one to advance to the quarterfinals next spring. Getting a draw on the road is just going to be the theme this week.

Yeah, so while everyone is smiling on camera, you have to think they’ve already worked it out to where he leaves in a couple weeks for good.
They either work out amazingly or they become a massive headache in the end. Crazy how this time last year he was leading them into the playoffs.
There have been some pretty sizable busts in the DP department this season. I’m all for getting younger and more up and coming DPs to this league like what FCD has done. Less Steven Gerrard’s and more Carlos Gruezo’s.
Although, if you get more David VIlla’s in the league, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.
While we’re going to be pretty consumed with our game and Colorado’s on Sunday, there are some pretty big games that will determine seeding for the final available playoff spots out there.
Thankfully we’re not one of them, though it may feel that way now.
I wouldn’t feel confident if I were DCU until that stadium is open. So many twists and turns in that stadium build.
We’re playing one of them too. Also, the word is that Carlos Ruiz didn’t travel for this one due to an ankle injury.
