With the MLS SuperDraft a week away, the league has announced the 2016 Generation adidas class that will be available next week.
Leading class is Georgetown University defender Josh Yaro, who was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year and earned 2015 NSCAA All-America Second Team accolades. Yaro is expected to be one of the top picks in the draft.
Clemson University's Andrew Tarbell stood out in 2015, taking home a NSCAA All-America Second Team nod, as the goalkeeper guided the Tigers to the 2015 NCAA Men's College Cup final and led the ACC with 84 saves.
Syracuse University midfielder Julian Buescher tallied eight goals and 11 assists, earning NSCAA All-American Second Team and 2015 College Cup All-Tournament Team honors.
The only freshman to be named a NSCAA First Team All-American, English midfielder Jack Harrison from Wake Forest, while Toronto native Richie Laryea from Akron University in scoring with 11 goals on the season.
Generation adidas players do not count against an MLS team's salary budget.
The league also announced the signing of senior defender and 2015 NCAA College Cup winner Brandon Vincent from Stanford.
