Last night's USMNT game was a bit of a stinker to say the least.

I really wish and hope they don't do a limited number of these things, because I really think every FCD fan should and would want one.
This has hit the news a little bit over the last few days but how cool is it that the FCD academy squads are getting some big time training with the likes of the Mexican national team? Really cool to see that happen.
No Michael Barrios? That is probably the most surprising take away from this.
The big news of the night for FCD fans wasn't the USMNT game and how bad it was, no, it was Fabian Castillo earning his first cap with Colombia.

Something that went very unnoticed in probably every circle around MLS last weekend except in Washington. Sigi Schmid has been out from the team for a couple days now due to health-related matters. This could definitely be something to keep an eye on.
DCU have been in a bit of a bad way as of late, losing several games in a row now. They face Colorado this week in search of a must-win game.
That would have been a nice 'get' for the Philadelphia Union this summer but instead they will be left trying to figure out how their season ends, likely without a playoff trip.
Interestingly enough the discussion is all centered around what LA did.
As much as I am with Don Garber on this, sometimes I wish he didn't come across as such a homer every time he spoke.

Yep. I still don't know why I sat through that game last night.
Right now, I don't have a ton of optimism for next month's game against Mexico.
I just hope Jurgen Klinsmann can take this lesson and do something positive with it.
