Frisco Independent School District votes yes on Toyota Stadium improvements.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The National Soccer Hall of Fame is officially coming to Frisco. US Soccer and FC Dallas will unveil plans for stadium improvements to Toyota Stadium that include the Hall of Fame on October 14.

The news became official Wednesday afternoon as the Frisco ISD voted yes on the stadium improvements that include new locker rooms, video boards, upgraded sound system, team store and National Soccer Hall of Fame.

We discussed these plans a few times on here with looks at what some of the construction may be like in the south end of the stadium. Toyota Stadium will have a reduced capacity for the 2016 and 2017 seasons while the improvements are being made on the 10-year old facility.

The ISD was the last of four votes needed to get these changes along with approvals from the Frisco Community Development Corporation, Frisco Economic Development Corporation and Frisco City Council.

Now that this is official, what do you all think?
