One more day until we're back at game day around here as FC Dallas gets set to take on Sporting KC tomorrow.

He had a lot of free time over the last couple of months to get his set pieces back to the level we saw in 2014. Too bad he is such a turnover machine in the midfield.

The good news is that FCD is firmly in a playoff spot right now. The bad news, they have the toughest remaining schedule of any MLS team.
You know, the more I think about this, the more I think it makes perfect sense. In summer of 2016, you'll have the Olympics to deal with along with wherever Copa America is. I'm sure I am missing some other tournaments that are next year that would impact things but overall the time to move this tournament's schedule is now.
The big names actually showed up well for this one. NYCFC continues to be a tougher team at home than when they are out on the road.
Where have we seen this before out of Toronto FC? Late in the season, they're in a playoff battle and then they start to sink. Not the best time for a slump.
Don't look now but the Eastern Conference race is starting to move through New England and not New York (or DC).
Nothing like improving your coaching stock while managing a team that you know will likely just fire you in six months anyways.
I can't say I agree with this but I kind of get why it was rescinded at the same time.
The writing has pretty much been on the wall for a few months on this thing. Can't say I am shocked about it either.
