FC Dallas vs Sporting Kansas City: Squad Selection

We go to Blue Hell to make it Red.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Big, big game this Friday against Sporting Kansas City at Sporting Park with playoff position on the line and that coveted Supporter's Shield to boot too. Dallas did not fair well on their last trip to Kansas City and will look to erase that 4-0 drubbing from their memory this time around. Unlucky for Dallas that Dom Dwyer's red card was rescinded and he'll be available for this match up.

I originally mentioned in a comment on here that Dallas just needs 7 points from September to stay on track for the Shield, but upon looking at RBNY's remaining schedule compared to Dallas',FCD really needs to take at least four points from their next two fixtures against SKC and LA Galaxy to create some buffer and separation. But then again, this is MLS and anything can happen.

The official league injury report lists the following players as questionable:

  • Mauro Diaz
  • Dan Kennedy
  • Bakary Soumare
  • Stephen Keel
  • Victor Ulloa
In the game notes they are all listed as questionable, along with Victor Ulloa and Stephen Keel. But as you've already done all season long, take all that information with a grain of salt.

So what will you do for this Friday's game? Is it time for Ezequiel Cirigliano to get a run out there or will you reward Michel with another start after his strong performance last weekend? Give us your thoughts below.
