The weekend is nearly here as FC Dallas is getting set to host NYCFC tomorrow.

I think the simple answer right now is yes. I may have more thoughts on this in the coming weeks but the simple answer really is going to have to be yes.
I wouldn't exactly say the forward is on fire yet but I'm willing to see Oscar Pareja start him again on Saturday against what is arguably one of the weakest defenses in the league. Get him out there, get him more confidence for the final few weeks of the season. FCD needs a hot forward for the playoffs.

Gyasi Zardes is still one of the most exciting young players in the league. I wouldn't be at all shocked to see him land near or at the top of the league's annual 24 Under 24 list too.
This has been a pretty rough week for the Sounders with Sigi Schmid out of training with some health matters. It sounds like he is going to be alright but the club isn't expecting him to travel this weekend.
So FCD has been more on the lucky side of things this year in MLS. I can't say that surprises me at all. Sometimes in a good season you just need a bit of luck to get through some of it.
One again Don Garber explains why there won't be promotion and relegation in MLS. In other news, there is a dead horse near the league's front office that would like to rest in peace.
I fully expect whatever this club does will still annoy a lot of people that cover this league. Can't make everyone happy but I do think they're smart for asking for input. I'd just say we don't need any more blue teams.
