Canada here we come. FC Dallas is going up to Vancouver to battle the Whitecaps this weekend.

The young Homegrown keeper hasn't seen any first team action for FCD but I wouldn't be at all shocked if at the end of the year, if FCD has a playoff spot locked up that Oscar Pareja gives him a random start.

Had the last two games gone differently for FCD, we'd be in the thick of this discussion. Instead, we're on the outside looking in. But that race is going to be tougher and tougher to get into with how September looks for the club, another month with lots of road games.
Chicago continues to be the land where DPs go to die. Shaun Maloney was suppose to be the big saving grace for the Fire coming into this season but instead he just adds to the list of guys that have bombed in the Windy City as DPs. This just sums it up perfectly:
DCU has one of the lowest payrolls in the league for a reason, and that is their pending stadium. This piece talks a lot about the owners, so enjoy.
This is some interesting stuff to begin your Friday morning with. A lot of talk about how well some teams limit shots on goal, which shows that FCD is one of the better teams (thank you five-man midfield). I've never bought into a lot of deep stat looks like this but I do like seeing that FCD has improved defensively this year (aside from those bad results they've taken in this year).
I've been told by a lot of players that they find this league fast but it is definitely interesting to hear that it may be faster than Liga MX.
I'll save you the quick trouble, there aren't any FCD games on this list.
