Blas Perez called up for two Panama friendlies

New, comments

Perez joins the Panama side yet again.

International call ups appear to be the new hamstring injury for FC Dallas in 2015. Yet again the club will lose forward Blas Perez this next month for two Panama friendlies against Uruguay (Sept. 4) and Venezuela (Sept. 8), both of which are during a FIFA international window.

Perez will miss at least the Columbus game on September 6 and could be doubtful for the New York City game on September 12.

Don't be shocked if more FC Dallas players receive call ups in the next couple weeks as well. Canada, Guatemala, and Jamaica all have two World Cup qualifiers as well that weekend, which means you can likely put Je-Vaughn Watson, Tesho Akindele and Moises Hernandez on the doubtful list for those two FC Dallas weekends.

So far this season FC Dallas has lost 32-player-matches for MLS games this season due to international call ups. In a small way, one could argue that this is just as rough as what the club had to deal with last year in hamstring injuries that kept appearing in players.
