In front of the fourth largest crowd in Toyota Stadium history, FC Dallas lost their second straight game on Saturday night in a 2-1 decision to the LA Galaxy.

Designated Player Robbie Keane scored a second half brace to help erase the first half goal out of Michael Barrios.

FC Dallas pushed for a goal early in this one as Blas Perez, who made his first start in over a month and a half, placed a tough attempt on goal in the third minute. Perez started up top with his Panama national teammate Rolando Escobar. The two connected early on a series of passes that caught the LA defense off guard but Perez's first attempt would be cleared away by LA keeper Donovan Ricketts.

Dallas would dominate the possession in the first half and it would pay off in the 33rd minute on a breakaway goal from Barrios. Ryan Hollingshead out break up a play in the Dallas defensive third and push the ball forward to Barrios. The Colombian winger would break past his mark and race into the penalty box where he would make one move around Ricketts and place the ball into the back of the net.

LA would race out to a quick start in the second half however as Keane would get the first of his two goals in the 51st minute. Robbie Rogers would move up the flank for the Galaxy and send in a perfect ball into the box for Keane to head into the back of the net.

Keane would double up his tally minutes later in the 56th minute on another header, this time chipped in from Giovani dos Santos. Dallas would try to clear the ball after dos Santos missed an attempt but the Mexican national teamer would chip a perfectly lofted ball across the goal where Keane would finish.

Dallas would be unable to find the equalizer late in the game despite several attempts from Escobar.

Dallas will return to action next week as they travel to Vancouver for the first time this season to battle the Whitecaps.
